Redbournbury Watermill is an eighteenth century working flour mill. Situated beside the river Ver less than two miles from Childwickbury. The mill has a close relationship with Hammonds End Farm in Harpenden who supply the majority of our wheat, rye and spelt grain. With our own bakery at the mill this means the grain is grown, milled and baked within one one mile of the mill giving our products the lowest possible food-miles. The mill produces a range of organic stoneground flours some of which is then baked into bread, cakes and mince-pies in the mill’s bakery. The mill is regularly open to the public and visitors can see the flour being milled on Sunday afternoons.
