I am a printmaker based in Devon, specializing in etchings and mezzotints of marine life. Living by the coast, with regard to the creatures that I draw, I feel most strongly that we constantly take from the sea and put very little of any good back into it. With the sales of my work I support Project Seahorse, The National Lobster Hatchery and ZSL’s ‘Edge of Existence’ programme.

Jules Verne’s ‘20,000 Leagues under the Sea’ with vivid descriptions of strange marine life; the evocative and truly mystical names of species, Sea Dragon, Nautilus, Argonaut and Fangtooth, along with childhood memories of rock pooling and stories of the curious Coelacanth, the ‘Fossil Fish’ , I’m constantly fascinated and inspired.
