We are a unique food and catering company. Small but perfectly formed we fuse together our passion for cooking alongside the skills we have gained over the years to create fantastic, fresh and flavoursome food for private parties, street events and outdoor markets.

Open Air Foods was set up by Gemma, Darren and Ian with the aim of offering food that tastes as good as it looks. After working in the hospitality industry for a number of years, we were tired of seeing overcooked burgers, soggy white bread and pig roasts at outdoor events and festivals. We became frustrated at the lack of food provenance in our local supermarket with not knowing where our food had been sourced and prepared. We therefore decided to set up Open Air Foods with the aim of serving exceptional hot food at outdoor events and retailing an unique range of produce at local town markets.
